Finishing school, gray edition

When the finishing school skirt first came out, I wasn't very impressed. It wasn't until I actually tried the skirt on, and laid eyes on the gorgeous pleats on the back of the skirt, that I realized how awesome it is. I love the rust color, but the gray was calling my name!

Check out JG's wonderful post about her finishing school skirt here and see how LC styled her's here!

Top: Anthropologie
Cardigan: J. Crew (Jackie, of course)
Skirt: Anthropologie Finishing School Skirt
Tights: J. Crew
Shoes: Dansko
Necklace: Anthropologie Pessinus Garden necklace

The best part of the skirt:

I am soooooo happy that tomorrow is Friday. Have a wonderful day!

I just love that skirt. The little detail on the back IS the best part. Hehehe.

  4. Hi Kristin. TGIF indeed. Love your play of colors. And the back of the skirts is such an unexpected surprise. Hope you have a great weekend! p/s from Cindi's blog I saw that you may be getting a new camera. Are you? If so, I would love to see close up shots of your jewelery someday. I would've love to see the Pessinus Garden necklace up close on you.

  7. Cindi - I'm glad the week went by fast for you (I can't really say the same, but that is okay, because it's over now:). I hope your weekend it fabulous!

Minnesota Maven - I have lots of pieces that I feel that way about:( I always have to remind myself that there will always be new things that I will love just as much!

    Gabby - Thank you!

Lisa - Yes! I am camera shopping:) I am finally ready to get my first SLR camera. I have been doing lots of research/shopping and will hopefully be ready to buy in the next couple of weeks. I am SO EXCITED!!! I will certainly try to include more close up shots (especially of my jewelry) - I'm sure once I get the new camera, it will be much easier. The Secret Life of Bees is my favorite book. I just love it. I have read it numerous times and each time it becomes more special to me. Thanks for noticing:)

    LC - Thanks for following!
