Yes, I have already worn the sweater I purchased yesterday. In my mind, that means it was a smart purchase. If something sits in my closet unworn for more than a week or so, I know that I should probably consider returning it (unless of course, it is something so lovely that I'm saving it for a 'special occasion'). This sweater only had the chance to sit in my closet for a few hours! After resting for a bit after my trip to anthropologie yesterday morning, Ben and I went out to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the afternoon.

Anthropologie Black Friday Sale
Did any of you venture out to anthropologie this morning? My curiosity got the best of me and I ended up at anthropologie at 6:00am this morning. There were a few people in line when I got there, but it was nothing like last year. It was a little more chaotic than normal, but it really wasn't bad. I did not have to wait in line for a fitting room. I found a few things to try on, but the overall selection wasn't that great. I was really hoping to find an item or two that I have on my wishlist, but are no longer available online (like the devin henley or the lace and lines pullover), but no such luck.
I ended up with only 1 clothing item. This mustard cardigan is adorable! It didn't look great on the hanger (or in the online photos for that matter), but once I tried it on, I loved it! It was marked down to $50 + 25% off. There was a little snag in the sweater, so I was able to get an additional 15% off as well.
I picked up a few other random item. I'm always looking for cute pot holders, and I love the ruffle on these. The lotion is lovely, and you can't go wrong with a sweet-smelling candle:)
This sale was quite a disappointment compared to last years. Honestly, I wish I had just stayed in bed. Oh well - I'm happy with the few items I got, and I am now at home, in my PJs. Nap time!
If you ventured out to anthro this morning,or any other retailer, let me know how it went and what you scored!

J. Crew Clearance Store
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with people you love, delicious food, and lots of naps:)
I took a short trip to NC last week to visit my family. I was able to see quite a few of my friends and family members - it was hectic, but a very nice trip nonetheless. I flew back home on Sunday night and the first part of this week was crazy busy. I am just now feeling like I can take a breath and relax a bit. I am so very happy to have the next 4 days off work.
One of the highlights of my trip to NC was visiting the J. Crew clearance store. I love this place! My mom and nannie came along and we had a blast. I ended up finding quite a few things this time (including a beautiful green purse, a gray wool dress, a couple of tops, and a jackie cardigan, of course!). Here are a few pictures:
Here is my outfit from today (sorry for the blurry pics). This black patent belt was a clearance store find. I've already work it twice, so I would say it was a good purchase!
Dress: Vintage (Billy Goat Vintage)
Cardigan: J. Crew Jackie
Sweater coat: J. Crew

New Anthro Catalog
I just had a chance to take a look at the new anthro catalog (the 2nd catalog issued this month). Wow! Finally, there are items that make me say "wow"! Honestly, the past few catalogs have been a bit disappointing to me. I remember last fall/winter when I loved almost everything - that has not been the case this year. This catalog was a breath of fresh air.
Here are a few items that have piqued my interest:
Snoa Motocardi - Love, love, love this. It looks so cozy.
Ide Lace Skirt - not sure about the length, but the color and texture look gorgeous.
Zodiac Calendar Cuff (Hmmmmm - this reminds me of one of my favorite bracelets from last year, the Astrological Maps Bracelet)
ps - have any of you seen the Devin Henley top in your store (moss color, size large)???

Liamolly Grab Box Outcome
I received my Liamolly Grab Box last week! I actually received 4 items, instead of the expected 3. Here's what I got:
2 of the items I love, 1 is meh, and 1 is not really my style. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I think for the style and quality Liamolly brings to the table, you can't beat the price (the grab box was $75.00).
I actually wore the Felice Jacket today (I can't believe I'm actually posting an outfit on the day that I wore it!). It is beautiful, soft, and cozy. This is definitely my favorite piece.
Tee: J. Crew
Jacket: Liamolly Felice Jacket
Jeans: AG
Shoes: Seychelles
Bag: Anthropologie
Here is another outfit featuring one of my new Liamolly pieces. This cardigan is similar to the Fiona, but not it exactly. I'm not sure if it's another style that I just can't find or if maybe it's a sample piece or something. Either way, I love it!
Dress: Gift from my mom
Cardigan: Liamolly
Tights B. ella
Shoes: Born
UPDATE: SOLD
Joanna (Farmer Jo) also purchased the grab box. It sounds like she got some really lovely pieces. one of her sweaters has a coin purse pocket (jealous!). However, one of them is not really her style and she wants to sell it.
It is a size small and is medium weight/super soft. It does say sample. Price is $30 + shipping. I wish it were my size:) If you are interested in purchasing, email Joanna directly at: jopiatek@gmail.com

Blustery
I hope all of you east-coaster's are safe and dry. Sending positive thoughts your direction!
This is an outfit from a few days ago. The Blustery Days Jacket is one of my favorite pieces. For some reason, it feels really luxurious. I like to try to get in at least a few wearings during the fall.
I'm off to tackle some laundry (or maybe just read a book:). I plan on posting about my Liamolly grab box very soon - I can't wait to show you guys what I got!
