La Citron

Hello lovely ladies! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Even though our photo shoot had to be rescheduled because of the weather, I still had a great weekend! The photo shoot will take place very soon - fingers crossed for some gorgeous weather in the next few days.

Today, Ben and I went to Chez Machin for brunch. This is one of my favorite spots. They have the best crepes in town! We also ran a few errands and went grocery shopping. I ended my Sunday with a wonderful restorative yoga class.

Yes, I'm wearing the J. Crew Tea-Stained dobby dress again! I can't get enough of this dress:) It's a bit too short on me for the office, so it is getting a lot of weekend wear. This time, I paired it with lots of navy.

The "La Citron" - Mmmmmmmmmm

Dress: J. Crew Tea-Stained dobby dress
Cardigan: J. Crew Jackie
Belt: Anthropologie
Tights: Hue
Shoes: Dansko
Bag: Anthropologie

On Saturday, we walked to our friends' house for dinner. We had a great time and ended up staying up way too late enjoying great company, conversation, and wine.

Top: Anthropologie Back Porch Blouse
Cami: J. Crew
Jeans: Joe's via Anthropologie
Shoes: All Black via Anthropologie
Necklace: J. Crew

These All Black shoes were the very first pair of shoes I ever bought from Anthropologie. The color is gorgeous and I love the cut-outs. I kind of regret not getting the Skylight Mary-Janes from last year (which are a brown version of these shoes).

Is there something that you are wearing over and over again right now? Something you love too much to keep hanging in your closet for more than a week or so?

  1. I'm constantly wearing my Ishtar Gate Cardigan ever since picking it up on sale. Love a good wrap cardi to keep me warm during these cooler spring days. And I love my Skylight Mary-Janes, which I bought because I regretted not buying the first red version. :)

  2. oh I tried ordering the skylight mary-janes on a popback a couple of times, but the order was always cancelled...:( I'm kinda glad to know they're actually really great shoes though, and that it wasn't just a whim that I wanted them!

It is nice to wear one article out a lot- you end up trying new things with it- love how this dress has a very different feel with the navy cardigan and ribbon-y belt.

I've been obsessively wearing orange, it seems, and it's not getting any better now that the warmer weather means some of the summery-er elements in my arsenal can come out to play!! I might just have to change my blog name temporarily...

  3. The deep raspberry color of your shoes is truly gorgeous. They add a cheerful pop to your outfit! And I love seeing how you've styled the tea-stained dress -- it seems like it will be very versatile throughout the summer.

I'm constantly wearing an olive green jersey blazer from Lucky Brand Jeans. It feels like wearing a sweatshirt, but it has (slightly) more structure. And it was $30!

  4. ohhh - that last shot is my fave. It's a little arty and really pretty at the same time. I really adore that Back Porch Blouse on you too!
I bought a Curlytop cardi copy last week and I've already worn it twice. It is quite versatile, and perfect for the in-between weather.

  5. I can see why you can't get enough of that J.Crew dress. It's really wonderful on you, and it's the sort of piece that you can wear in countless different ways! Lately, I've been obsessed with this cheap chambray button-down I bought at Gap about a year ago. Untucked with jeans, tied at the waist with full skirts... It's my go-to top it seems!

  6. I love the photos, Kristin! You have great style! I am living in Anthro T's because it is pretty warm here. At least they are not only comfy but cute as well! :)

  8. Totally love those shoes. They're vintage and classic. I would say, like thatdamngreendress, I'm obsessed with orange. Been wearing a lot of my orange shoes, belt, earrings, prints with orange, blue and orange, etc. And bonus if it doesn't have a structured waistband :) Your meal at Chez Machin looks delectable. And you're killing me with all these gorgeous Portland photos. I SO want to move there. Look at the flowers!! They're on steroids!

  16. The photos of the flowers overflowing the Garden walls are just breath taking. I'm getting excited waiting for my new SLR to arrive.

I know those shoes. Those are Anthro's Framboise Peep Toes in Raspberry. I will be wearing mine tomorrow. But the post won't be until Thursday. I'm a day behind.

You look fabulous in the J Crew Dress. Feel free to make us jealous everyday if you like.
