On Friday night, Ben and I went to Miho for dinner. We both love trying new restaurants and this was the perfect place for a date night. While we were waiting for a table, I enjoyed a "Little Debbie" cocktail (Shochu, grapefruit juice, and ginger ale). Ben had Shochu on the rocks. If you have never had shochu before, you should give it a try! It has a really nice, mild, interesting taste. For dinner, we shared a seaweed salad, beef teriyaki, ramen noodles, and pork belly with sweet eggs. Every bit of it was delicious.

I got that bag too, and it's one of my absolute favourite Anthro bags!! Isn't it amazing IRL? The online product shots don't do justice to it... it looks great with your outfit!
ReplyDeleteI like these moody dusk shots- and then with the bright shots of yellow... man, do I ever love the scalloped edge on that bag too- I'm thinking it's time to play with carrying a carpet-bag again...
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit, the yellow coat and the bag are awesome. Such a classic shape for a bag, but unique still with the overlay. Great!
ReplyDeleteThat bag is GORGEOUS! How did I ever miss that?! Great score.
ReplyDeleteLoving these photos - you and the city both look fabulous. The restaurant sounds great - I'll have to try it.
ReplyDeleteHow much are you loving today's weather? Isn't it gorgeous? I hope you have something fun and outdoorsy to do!
What a simple outfit made completely lovely by the yellow coat and that bag! I'm freaking out about that bag!
ReplyDeleteI love your sunny yellow coat! Banana used to be so incredible, I wish they still made pieces like that. That bag is beautiful, too. It seems to fit your style very well. The soft white with the pretty pinks peeking out actually reminds me of your tattoos under your white top.
ReplyDeletePretty shots. I love the embroidered bag. And yellow coat, of course.
ReplyDeleteAhhh I love date night! And I love that bag for date night! :) Your photos are turning out great. How do you like your SLR?
ReplyDeleteCarly - Yes, I agree - it's even better IRL! I'm so glad I picked it up. It actually sold out before I realized stock was getting low, so I almost didn't get it. Luckily, it popped back and actually shipped!
ReplyDeleteTerrie - It is such a great bag. There may be some floating around stores.....
Sarah - Thank you! The lighting was so nice on Friday evening.
Jess - Thanks:)
JG - Thank you! It sold out very quickly and I don't think a lot of stores carried it (the 2 near me didn't).
Gracey - Thanks! Yes, the restaurant was great. If you like Japanese food, you should definitely give it a try. I am getting ready to head out for a bike ride right now! It is so gorgeous. Hope you are enjoying it too:)
Sweet Laundry - Thank you! I am very happy with the bag. It is a bit bigger than I was expecting, but the size is growing on me.
Mich - Thanks! I agree - I have a few pieces from Banana Republic from a few years ago that I love. I really haven't been interested in anything they have put out recently though. I didn't think about it, but you are totally right! My bag coordinated quite well with my white top and tattoo. How cool! Thanks for pointing that out.
Trophyboutique - Thank you!
Cindi - Thank you! I am LOVING my SLR! Of course we are still learning (alot) as we go, but I am really happy with the camera and we both are having a great time with it. I'm already thinking about new lenses:)
Love the coat and the BAG!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe dinner sounds yumyum!! I miss Japanese food.. I can only handle umeshu..(plam wine) Shochu is too strong for me ><
These photos are great and I absolutely LOVE the bag!
ReplyDeleteAs you listed each of the dishes you ate, I drooled a little bit more than the previous time. gross. I know. Sorry, but your dinner sounded delicious!
ReplyDeleteAnd that coat is really really gorgeously colored! What a statement! and the purse? double statement. i love it!

Such beautiful photos! I loved your outfit over on Anthroholic today :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great bag and a great coat!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit. That coat and bag really set it apart from the rest.
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that by reading the word "ramen" my mouth starts watering? This girl loves her noodles!
ReplyDeleteI love your purse!
I am in love with your bag !

mmmmm ramen. Wasn't Sunday just fantastic? It's too bad that I had to be at work all day. :(
ReplyDeleteThat bag is AMAZING, nice find! You look lovely. so simple and sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet, encouraging comment too! It's especially nice when someone from PDX tells me I will love it there. So thank you for the warm welcome! :)
Must. have. coat.
ReplyDeletePerfect with your skin and hair. I love it.
All I can think about with little Debbie is those peanut butter and chocolate wafer bars? Remember those? So I was sure you were sucking down chocolate liquor with a peanut chaser...or something. The REAL little debbie sounds pretty yummy, actually.
Love the outfit, Kristin! And your dinner and drinks sound delish! Did you get anything from the sale today?!
ReplyDeleteyour coat is great!!

Wait a minute! I thought date night was for old married couples with kids. I'm out of touch.
ReplyDeleteThe bright yellow coat from BR is a stand out Kristin. I remember the White top too. The sheer fabric lets your beautiful Tattoos show through. Your bag is definitely the hot topic of conversation. White Cotton covered with embroidery. Havent seen much of it at Anthro this year.
Love the backround scenery as always.
Ooh, your dinner sounds Delish. I love that bag! It's so unique, and your yellow coat totally makes the outfit!
ReplyDeleteKeiko - Thank you! Yes, it was delicious:) I will have to try some umeshu next time.
ReplyDeleteLauren - Thanks!
Laura - Thanks:) It was great - I don't blame you one bit for drooling!
Caffeinerd - Thank you! I love reader outfits! Isn't it great to see so many different styles/outfits in one place?
Elle - Thanks!
Katrina - Thank you:)
Lisa - Not weird at all! Noodles are the best!
Vale - Thanks!
Andriea - Yes, Sunday was wonderful! I'm sorry you were stuck at work. That sucks. I went on a nice, long bike ride and also stopped by DiPrima Dolci for lunch again:) Hopefully, you will have some time off soon so you can enjoy the sun!
Cydney - Thank you! I really do think you will love it here. Feel free to email me if you have questions or want restaurant/shopping/hiking/whatever recommendations.
13 - Thanks! Yep, I thought of the same thing when I saw the "little debbie" listed on the cocktail menu! I used to love those wafers. The little debbie cocktail was excellent, but I also think that chocolate liquor with a PB chaser sounds pretty amazing:)
Loraine - Thanks! No, I did not pick anything up from the sale (yet). The only thing that made it to sale from my wishlist is the pinned through shirt, but I'm not so sure about it. I love the items you picked up! The purse looks great.
Sabinna and David - Thanks!
Laura - Well, I hope you don't have to be old, married parents to go out for a date night:) Maybe I should just say that we went out on the town to enjoy dinner together! I picked this coat up on impulse a few years ago. I'm so glad I did! I love it and it's perfect for spring. I have never really been into simple/sheer/white tops before, but I have been loving them recently for some reason. You are right - it's perfect to show off my tattoo. Thanks:)
Molly - Thank you!
That bag is so so cool! Cute jacket too. The view where you are is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess!
